How to Enrol

Whether you live in the beautiful historic town of Oamaru or wish to attend Waitaki Girls’ High School as a boarder in our hostel, Waitaki House, we invite you to visit us and become part of our community.

Applications should be completed/returned to the school by 31 August. Applications after this date may still be considered. Interviews for all newly enrolled students will take place with the Principal and Senior staff after this date.

Enrolment Checklist

  • Complete details on the application form

  • Attach a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate if she was born in New Zealand

  • Attach a copy of your daughter’s passport showing residency status if she was not born in New Zealand

  • Submit application form, either digitally or by paper copy. Paper copy of the form can be posted to Waitaki Girls’ High School, PO Box 42, Oamaru, 9444

  • You will receive confirmation of your enrolment via email

  • The office will contact you to make an appointment for your enrolment interview with the Principal

  • We will be in touch when enrolment is approved
